The Integrated Flight Simulation System is designed primarily as a teaching tool. Instructors can make use the simulators for free.  Their students need only pay the hourly simulator rate.

Through the simulation flying experience the instructor is able to isolate the student by extending the peripheral vision restriction device, which gives the student a sense of realism.

Though it gives the sense of a solo flight the instructor is able to monitor and analyze the student’s performance through the instructor analysis monitor.

This tool is very crucial for the development of the pilot in training because it allows the trainee to experience intimidating conditions in a safe and controlled environment.
